Lace lace lace

Latest addition to my endless shoe-wish list: varnished lace up shoes!  Is there anything more sexy than that? Preferably flat or with a low block heel(second obsession) and with either square(third obsession) or pointed tip. I wouldn't mind a pair of traditional chinese emroided shoes either, so elegant and so chic. My favorite from this collection must be the Tory Burch Varenne lace-up flats(the middle left ones). Which ones do you prefer?

Had great plans capturing al of my outfits in Japan, but as usual I postponed it for over a week, and then all of a sudden the mirror in my DSLR broke! All I got before it broke was some lousey tourist-shots. Oh how I regret not taking time for a few simple shots during the first days. Now you'll have to cope with all my other good, and not so good, soulutions. I hope you enjoy! These are phone shots from a late night, on which I now realise not so good location/background, as I only thought of where to get the best light, ended up using the light from a vending machine. I'm wearing what my family calls "the pyjama dress", an AA-turtleneck and a vintage bumbag feauturing some male-sized japanese velcro sneakers bought in Ameyoko, Tokyo. 

Nike air rift

I'm having the biggest shoe-crsis ever! First I bought the perfect black chunky boots with the prettiest buckles, but then I figured I needed something lighter for spring/summer and there are just so many perfect shoes...I finally decided to go with some Raf Simmons look-alike sandals(as he does sneakers) but then today I came over these babies; The Nike air rifts!!! I'm in looove.

They're, as you can see, a mix of sneakers and traditional japanese tabi. I haven't decided about which color yet, but I think I will go for something like pair number two. What do you guys think?

 Boyfriend got me these white babies for Christmas, and I'm in love! Unfortunately it's still to much ice to wear them outside .. Can't wait till spring! 

Classic cut

Picked up some new doctor martens the other day, classic black ones with teddy-fleece lining. Getting ready to fight the Norwegian winter cold!   

I'm a big fan of huge, chunky boots, but the classic cut make the doctor martens convenient even if you're not. They're not too bold and crazy, but no doubt, good-looking, absolutely a good investment for any wardrobe.
